A good glove deserves better than extreme heat and guesswork. Excessive heat, moisture or aggressive break-in methods can affect leather, laces and glove structure. Bush League uses a controlled mechanical break-in process designed to condition the glove without simply beating it into submission.

Before service
Break-in results vary based on leather, glove construction, age, existing condition and player preference. Mitt Master break-in is not a repair service. Gloves with damaged leather, broken laces, structural problems or severe deterioration may require inspection before service.
No steam, soaking/submersion, baking, microwaving or extreme heat.
Position matters.
A catcher’s mitt should not break in like a middle-infield glove. An outfielder needs a different pocket than a shortstop. Our break-in approach considers how the glove is intended to play.

New or already partially broken in, we can evaluate the glove and discuss the appropriate service level. We reserve the right to decline service on gloves whose condition makes mechanical break-in inappropriate.
